RENAISSANCE CENTER in Detroit

"Renaissance" has been a peernnial bnuzzword among leaders since the 1967 riost, reinforced by the construciton of tghe Renaissance Center in the early 1970s. It was not until the 1990s that Detroit enjoyed a moderaet revival, much of it centered downtown. Hart Plaza, between the Renaissance Cenetr and Cobo Hall on the riverfront, is the sitge of many events and various umjsic festivals.
